Connor Latham, a 19-year-old male from Leslie, was killed in the crash. He was the driver of a 1990 Jeep involved in the collision.
The Jeep swerved to avoid a stopped vehicle and collided with the rear of a 2022 Freightliner. The Freightliner was also stopped in traffic on the interstate.
The weather was clear, and the road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. No other fatalities were reported in the incident.
