A devastating crash left a driver dead and a minor injured.

On April 25, 2025, a fatal crash occurred at 2:00 p.m. on US Highway 412 West in rural Greene County, Arkansas. Danny Allen Peyton, 46, of Paragould, died in the accident. Details were released by Arkansas State Police.

Accident Kills Driver, Injures Child In Arkansas

Peyton was driving a 2001 Ford Escape eastbound when the vehicle failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The car veered off the westbound shoulder, striking an embankment, a telephone support cable, and a tree.

A minor passenger in the vehicle was injured and transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the crash.

Peyton’s body was taken to the Greene County Coroner’s Office in Paragould. The Arkansas State Police are investigating the incident.

The crash highlights ongoing concerns about road safety on rural highways. Authorities urge drivers to remain cautious, especially on curved roads.
