“Fuel Leak” Reported In Conway After 18-Wheeler Disaster

Residents and commuters around Conway grappled with a sudden disruption on a major thoroughfare, as emergency crews converged on a hazardous incident.

An overturned 18-wheeler at the Dave Ward Drive and Amity Road intersection was leaking fuel, prompting a multi‑agency response and significant traffic delays. Thankfully, the situation was soon brought under control.

Overturned Truck Causes Fuel Leak

The Conway Police Department confirmed that officers and emergency personnel are on scene at the intersection of Dave Ward Drive and Amity Road.

The incident involved an overturned 18‑wheel truck, which authorities say was the source of the fuel leak.

Crews worked to contain the leak and safely remove the vehicle.
