Residents of Batesville are eagerly anticipating a day‑long celebration as Halloween falls on a Saturday this year.
The Main Street Spooktacular will run from morning until midnight on Oct. 31, offering family‑friendly activities and a late‑night gathering for adults, according to the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Main Street Spooktacular Returns for Halloween
The Main Street Spooktacular will take place on October 31 and will span the entire day, culminating at midnight.
Morning and afternoon activities include “Spooky Stacks” at Sarah•Dipity and a trick‑or‑treat bag‑making station hosted by the Batesville Area Arts Council.
Downtown streets will be open for traditional trick‑or‑treating, allowing children to collect candy across multiple storefronts.
After dark, a 21‑plus celebration will be held at The Board on 3rd, providing music and refreshments for adult revelers.
