The South Side Bee Branch School District and community will come together September 18 for the Titan II 374-7 Historical Marker Dedication in Damascus.
The dedication ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9 AM.
The program is being presented through the EAST Initiative at South Side Bee Branch High School under the theme:
“Preserving the Past. Honoring the Legacy. Inspiring the Future.”
Organizers say the ceremony will mark an important moment in local history and bring members of the district and surrounding community together for the dedication of the historical marker.
Because there is no parking available at the dedication site, guests attending the ceremony will need to use a complimentary shuttle service.
Parking for the shuttle will be available at South Side Baptist Church.
The final shuttle will depart at 8:50 AM, and guests are encouraged to arrive early enough to park and board before the last departure.
No on-site parking will be available at the marker dedication location.
Again, the Titan II 374-7 Historical Marker Dedication will be held Friday, September 18, at 9 AM in Damascus.
The event is being organized by the EAST Initiative at South Side Bee Branch High School and the South Side Bee Branch School District.
