The city of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, has officially shut down its Flock cameras.

Photographs have emerged showing that bags have been put over the AI cameras that are actively running “data harvesting” on anyone who drives by to build a dossier on every resident the cameras see. You can view the photograph below.

Greers Ferry Shuts Down Flock Cameras

Bags have been placed over the cameras after details emerged showing that Flock cameras are running “data harvesting” on anyone who drives by. Artificial intelligence allows AI companies to build dossiers on any residents it sees. All paid for with taxpayer money.

Many residents and local leaders have taken public stands against these AI surveillance cameras. It’s become one of the most discussed topics in Arkansas politics.

Greers Ferry Leads The Way

Greers Ferry was one of the first cities to announce the end of the AI camera program. Along with other cities like Cabot, Arkansas.

The bags came after Greers Ferry originally announced on August 12th that they were done with the cameras.

Now the cameras are officially disabled. Promises made. Promises kept!
