Feed the Veterans Pantry in Cabot has announced 2 September dates to provide food and personal hygiene items to local Veterans and eligible family members.

The pantry will be open Thursday, September 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Feed the Veterans Pantry is located at 1212 South 2nd Street in Cabot.
The pantry serves Veterans and their family members under the age of 18.
Veterans who plan to shop must provide a DD-214 and photo ID, or they may present a Military ID card or VA card.
Unlike some traditional food distributions, Feed the Veterans Pantry allows Veterans to shop for the food and personal hygiene items they need and want instead of receiving pre-packaged boxes.
Organizers say that approach gives Veterans and their families more choice when selecting items for their households.
The pantry normally opens on the 3rd Saturday of each month. An additional evening shopping opportunity has been added for September on September 17.
Non-perishable food and personal hygiene products are available through the pantry.
Community members who would like to support the program can also make donations.
Donations are always appreciated, according to organizers.
