A serious development has shaken the Texarkana community as authorities intensify their hunt for a suspect linked to a tragic crash.
Arkansas State Police have obtained a warrant charging Rkeavius Morrison with Murder in the First Degree, plus additional felony counts, tied to a September 2, 2026 fatal motorcycle crash on North State Line Avenue. The investigation, conducted with assistance from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, has not released the victim’s identity and is seeking public tips, while emphasizing that Morrison remains presumed innocent until a court decides otherwise.
Warrant Issued for Murder Charge
Arkansas State Police, working with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, have secured a new warrant charging Rkeavius Morrison with Murder in the First Degree. The warrant stems from a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on September 2, 2026, on North State Line Avenue.
Morrison also faces one count of Fleeing by Vehicle Resulting in Serious Physical Injury or Death and one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Serious Physical Injury or Death. These charges were added after the ongoing investigation.
Law enforcement officials have not released the identity of the deceased. They are asking anyone with information on Morrison’s whereabouts to call the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 903-798-3154 and to avoid attempting an apprehension themselves.
The case remains an active investigation, and all criminal charges are currently allegations. Morrison is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department issued the update.
