The White County Sheriff’s Office says investigators are continuing to search for a man suspected in a Tuesday night stabbing at Floyd Country Store, formerly known as Moose’s Country Store.
The White County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man suspected in Tuesday night’s stabbing at Floyd Country Store. Deputies say he is 46-year old Dustan Davis. Davis is currently not in custody. Authorities say the alleged incident resulted from a personal dispute and the general public is not in danger.
Authorities have now confirmed that the incident resulted from a personal dispute and was not a random attack.
“The public is not in danger,” authorities said in an update provided following the incident.
The stabbing occurred at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 4. White County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Seiders said the victim was stabbed in the head, but the injury was considered non-life-threatening.
