A series of fires have been spotted in Maumelle, Arkansas by local residents.
It’s becoming a pattern! They’re now using chemicals to hopefully put down the intense flames in the area.
Done footage has been released showing the multiple fires over several days. One resident was so bothered that they sent up a drone to record the footage that you can watch below.
Multiple Fires Over Several Days
According to the resident who captured the footage:
“We saw and smelled smoke a few days ago and then again yesterday.”
Another resident in the area said that locals have been fighting fires in the area more than usual due to unusually dry conditions.
Charles Morin, a part-time resident of Maumelle, says that water-addative chemicals are reportedly being used to fight the flames:
“Some people are even being forced to use special liquids to fight the local fires because the fires are so hot.”
Water additives change the surface tension and physical properties of plain water, making it up to six times more effective at cooling and smothering fires.
Although the causes of these fires remain unknown, cautionary measures are encouraged.
