The Bluegrass and Fried Chicken Festival returns to the Ozark Folk Center on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, bringing 2 days of live music, dancing and Southern food to Mountain View.

Performances are scheduled Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening inside the Ozark Folk Center’s indoor theater.
The festival lineup includes the all-star family band Mountain Highway, The Kevin Prater Band and The Gravel Yard. The Gravel Yard is listed among the 2026 Arkansas Country Music Awards nominees for Bluegrass Artist of the Year.
Additional performers include The Ozark Legacy, featuring National Banjo Champion Lillyanne McCool, Adam Fudge and Friends, and the Ozark Folk Center Square Dancers.
Guests can visit The Skillet Restaurant between performances for its popular fried chicken buffet.
Advance tickets are available at https://tickets.ozarkfolkcenter.com/. Tickets will also be sold at the theater door for $2 more than the advance price. Ozark Folk Center season passes will be honored.
