The White County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that deputies conducting a search for missing man Brian Waggle located remains believed to be his on Rio Vista Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies, working alongside White County Search and Rescue, began a coordinated search Wednesday morning. At approximately 9:00 a.m., search teams discovered human remains consistent with the description of Brian Waggle.
Authorities said the remains will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for official identification and to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
The investigation remains active while officials await the results of the crime lab examination. Investigators stated they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the residents of White County.
The White County Sheriff’s Office expressed its condolences to the Waggle family as the investigation continues.
