Community support was on full display as the Serve & Shine Car Show raised $5,000 to benefit the Cabot Police Department Foundation and its programs supporting Cabot police officers, their families and the community.
Event organizers announced the fundraising total following the successful event, thanking sponsors, donors, vehicle owners, volunteers and community members whose generosity made the day possible.
Funds were raised through sponsorships, donations, vehicle registrations and T-shirt sales.
More than 60 vehicles were registered for the event, attracting a large crowd of automotive enthusiasts and families for a day celebrating classic cars, custom vehicles and community service.

Community Comes Together
Organizers credited the success of the event to the overwhelming support of the Cabot community.
A special thank you was extended to NLC Cabot for providing its church facilities, parking lot, restrooms and air-conditioned space, giving attendees a comfortable place to cool off during the hot summer weather.
The Cabot High School Criminal Justice Class was also recognized for volunteering throughout the event.
Organizers praised the students for representing their school and community while helping make the event run smoothly.
Cabot Mayor Ken Kincade was thanked for assisting with judging and voting during the show.
Event organizers also recognized the talented artists who decorated the popular “Scribble Car,” turning it into one of the day’s most unique attractions.
Leadership Recognized
A special tribute was given to Lt. Renee Baugh, whose planning, leadership and countless hours of work helped bring the inaugural event to life.
Organizers said the event would not have been possible without her dedication and commitment to the Cabot Police Department Foundation.

With a successful first event now complete and $5,000 raised to support programs benefiting officers, their families and the community, organizers say they are already looking forward to next year’s Serve & Shine Car Show.
