The Rotary Club of Heber Springs erected a Rotary Peace Pole Wednesday, July 29, at Brewer Agency–Shelter Insurance.
A Rotary Peace Pole is a monument displaying the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” in multiple languages. The poles serve as internationally recognized symbols of peace, unity, understanding and goodwill among people from different cultures and backgrounds.
The new monument provides Heber Springs residents and visitors with a visible reminder of the importance of promoting peace within local communities and around the world.
Rotary clubs support humanitarian projects, community improvements and international peace initiatives. The installation reflects the Rotary Club of Heber Springs’ continued commitment to bringing people together while making a positive difference throughout Cleburne County.
The Peace Pole now stands at Brewer Agency–Shelter Insurance, where its message can be viewed and shared by members of the Heber Springs community.
