The Cabot Area Chamber of Commerce has announced Heather as the grand prize winner of its Christmas in July promotion.
Chamber officials said Heather was a fitting recipient because of her dedication to shopping locally and supporting businesses throughout Cabot.
Heather is described as a familiar face in many local businesses because she consistently chooses to purchase products and services from community merchants.
The chamber said every purchase made locally represents more than a financial transaction. Money spent with a small business supports an owner’s dream, local families, employees and the community’s economic future.
Many of the businesses and products featured in this year’s Christmas in July prize package were already among Heather’s local favorites.
That connection made her an ideal winner for the collection of gifts, merchandise and products contributed by participating Cabot businesses.
The Christmas in July promotion encouraged residents to shop locally while highlighting the variety of products and services available from businesses across the community.
