This Thursday night, families from across Central Arkansas are invited to the Cabot Sportsplex for Pops at the Plex, one of the area’s largest Independence celebrations honoring America’s 250th birthday.

The free event takes place Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 p.m. until 9:45 p.m., featuring an evening packed with patriotic fun, family activities and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Guests can enjoy inflatables, yard games, interactive activities, family fun zones and a variety of food trucks before the evening concludes with one of the region’s biggest fireworks displays.
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and their patriotic spirit as the community celebrates 250 years of American independence.
Additional event schedules, parking information and activity announcements will be released by organizers.
The City of Cabot thanked its event partners and sponsors, including the Cabot Advertising & Promotion Commission, Red River Auto Group and Xfinity, for helping make the celebration possible.
