Jacksonville Museum of Military History will host a special D-Day exhibit and historic flag unveiling event on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in honor of the 82nd anniversary of D-Day.
The event will take place from 10 AM until 5 PM at the museum located at 100 Veterans Circle in Jacksonville.
Organizers say the featured traveling D-Day exhibit will remain on display through July 30, 2026. During the June 6 event, museum officials will also unveil a repatriated and restored 48-star American flag discovered in a cave in Germany.
The event will include a guest speaker, museum tours, and opportunities for visitors to learn more about military history and the significance of D-Day.
