One of the fastest-growing family outreach programs in North Central Arkansas returns this Saturday as the Hope Lutheran Family Life Pantry hosts its Baby Pantry and Family Breakfast in Batesville.
The free event will take place Saturday, May 16, from 9 AM until 11 AM at Hope Lutheran Church located at 2415 East Main Street.
Families attending will receive free breakfast items including pancakes, casseroles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, and coffee while connecting with volunteers and other parents in the community.
Each baby or child attending may receive free diapers or pull-ups, wipes, formula, baby cereal, baby food, and laundry detergent. Organizers will also provide free children’s books in English and Spanish, coloring books, crayons, and a supervised playroom for children.
A community resource table will also offer information about food assistance, medical services, and additional family support programs.
Organizers say first-time visitors should bring a birth certificate for each child receiving services.
Beginning in June, families will be able to attend either the second Monday or third Saturday each month to help the ministry serve more families across the region.
