The Downtown Church of Christ in Searcy recently hosted an appreciation dinner honoring city workers and civil servants from across the community.
Employees representing departments including the Fire Department, Airport, Information Technology, Sanitation, and more were recognized for their dedication to keeping Searcy safe, clean, and a great place to live.
The event also showcased strong local support, with area businesses donating door prizes as a way to give back to those who serve the city. Contributors included Andrew Cargile with Shelter Insurance, Bells & Beaux, Burrito Day, Chipotle, Creme & Sugar,
Crispy Cones, El Almacén, Elle’s Boutique, Feather Pecan Co., Freddy’s, Harding Football, Papa John’s, Redbird Emporium, Slim Chickens, Trout Magnet, Wild Sweet Williams, and many others.
Organizers say the event reflects the strong sense of community and appreciation for those who work behind the scenes every day.
