Conway Arkansas Woman Convicted of Medicaid Fraud Sentenced March 2026

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the conviction of a Conway woman in a Medicaid fraud case.

According to officials, Victoria Smith-Williams, 38, of Conway Arkansas, was found guilty of 1 count of Medicaid fraud, a Class B felony.

Authorities say Smith-Williams, while working as a dental assistant, submitted conflicting timesheets and billed Medicaid for services she did not provide.

She was sentenced to 5 years of probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court fees, and must pay $9,297.75 in restitution.

The case was referred by the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General and investigated by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Attorney General Griffin stated that Medicaid fraud will not be tolerated in Arkansas, emphasizing accountability for those who attempt to misuse public funds.

Officials also credited investigators and prosecutors who assisted in securing the conviction.
