Seth Connell has officially announced he is running for mayor of Fairfield Bay, pledging to build on what he called a year of steady progress and renewed momentum across the community.
In his announcement, Connell said the city has worked to restore its reputation, stabilize finances, and move forward with infrastructure improvements while strengthening cooperation among local organizations and businesses.
Connell pointed to increased tourism, improving retail activity, and growing attendance at community events as signs that Fairfield Bay is on an upward path. He also emphasized collaboration between city leadership, community groups, and economic partners to attract new business and investment.
Calling for bold goals in the next four years, Connell said the focus will remain on long-term growth, community pride, and continued improvements to quality of life. He said the campaign will center on finishing current projects while pursuing new opportunities for development and tourism.
Connell concluded by saying his commitment to Fairfield Bay remains strong regardless of the election outcome and that the city’s best days are still ahead.
