A North Little Rock man has been sentenced to 27 years in federal prison for the production of child pornography, according to Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky sentenced Troy Moseley III, 26, to 27 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

Moseley was indicted by a federal grand jury in November 2023 on charges including production, distribution, and possession of child pornography. He later pleaded guilty to the production charge in July 2025.

Investigators said the case began after a cybertip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving material uploaded to a social media platform. Further investigation identified Moseley as the individual connected to the uploads.

Search warrants executed in September 2023 led to the seizure of electronic devices that contained numerous illegal images and videos. Moseley was later located and taken into custody after initially fleeing from officers.

The case was prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative led by the U.S. Department of Justice to combat child exploitation and protect victims. Officials encourage parents to remain vigilant in monitoring children’s online activity.

The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations, with assistance from the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office and the North Little Rock Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kristin Bryant.
