It’s official.

The Fairfield Bay Community Club will take over operations of the Fairfield Bay Cobblestone Inn. The hotel will be leased and operated by the Fairfield Bay Community Club. You can view a copy of the lease below, released by Lake Area Weekly.

Community Club Taking Over Operations

The deal reportedly happened after the current owners requested help finding alternatives to the current management structure.

The Community Club met and struck a deal after careful consideration. The decision was only announced on May 22nd at 11 am after completion was confirmed.

The Community Club hailed the cooperation that led to the decision:

“This agreement came about with cooperation and assistance between the Resort, the City and the Chamber of Commerce working together.”

The news was announced in a meeting with the following involved parties:

  • Mayor Seth Connell.
  • City Council Member Roger Hooper.
  • Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Feeler.
  • Community Club President David Baird.
  • Community Club General Manager Rory Bradley.
  • Community Club Board Member Jeff Smallmon.
  • Community Club Board Member Robert Reed.
  • Community Club Manager Sharon Boone.
  • Community Club Financial Head Daylon Williamson.
