A new petition has been launched to stop the new dress code Starbucks is rolling out in Conway and surrounding areas. The Union member are approaching customers in Conway and surrounding areas asking for them to sign the petition against the new rule.
Dress Code Draws Controversy
A union called “Starbucks Workers United” is taking a stand against the new dress code being rolled out for employees.
“Starbucks has their priorities wrong. CEO Brian Niccol is more worried about what baristas are wearing than cutting wait times for your summer drinks.”
The pamphlets they’re handing out says Starbucks should worry about wait times, not about how baristas look.
New Petition Unveiled
Their pamphlets tell people to sign their online petition.
The petition says you believe the following statement:
“I support Starbucks baristas in their fight for a union and a fair contract, and pledge not to cross the picket line by not patronizing any Starbucks store when baristas are on strike.”
