Bailey Winkler, a 20-year-old from England, Arkansas, was driving a 2023 Kia Sportage northbound on Highway 15. She crossed the center line, leading to a head-on collision with a southbound 2019 Isuzu NPR-HD.
Winkler was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. She was the sole occupant of her vehicle.
The driver of the Isuzu, Brandon Bridgman, 51, from Conway, Arkansas, was injured in the crash. His passenger, David Fields, 56, from Sherwood, Arkansas, also sustained injuries.
The Arkansas State Police reported that the Kia Sportage veered into oncoming traffic, causing the fatal impact. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
