According to case files, the alleged incident occurred on December 9, 2024, at a residence on County Line Road near Rosebud. Deputies responded to a breaking and entering call reported by a local homeowner.
A homeowner reportedly observed Osborne and his grandmother, Nevha Larsen, on her property, which was clearly marked with a “No Trespassing” sign. Video evidence captured Osborne removing a window screen to enter the home unlawfully.
Authorities allege Osborne intended to steal a will or obtain personal information from it. Larsen, who remained outside, was reportedly heard instructing Osborne to search for the document.
Osborne had previously lived at the residence with his late father until 2014. Holifield has been the sole resident since 2017.
According to the police officer investigating the case:
“It is reasonable believe that if the will was located, Osborne intended to either remove the will from the residence or to obtain personal information from the will.”
Osborne is held on a $25,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for May 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The investigation by the White County Sheriff’s Department continues.
Please note: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
