He reportedly burglarized a local building in Conway, Arkansas.
On February 9, 2025, Conway police responded to an alleged commercial burglary at Helton’s Wrecker Service. Allen Lee Johnson, 55, of Conway, was allegedly seen on security footage inside the business. He was later charged on March 30th and booked at 1:21pm on Sunday afternoon according to Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office.
Suspect Reportedly Fled With Bag Of Tools
According to case files, officers allege Johnson fled through the impound lot with a bag of tools worth $600. The tools, inscribed with Helton’s name, were recovered after he reportedly dropped them during a chase.
Police claim Johnson, allegedly identified via security footage from Dusty’s Exxon, wore a green ski mask and blue clothing. He was reportedly linked to a U-Haul rented by “Robert Hensley,” later found at Dusty’s.
The Faulkner County affidavit lists alleged charges against Johnson, including commercial burglary, theft of property, and criminal trespass. Detective Dustin Danner added theft after reviewing the incident report.
Johnson was arrested on March 30, 2025, by Conway Police, booked at 1:21 pm.
No cash was reportedly taken from Helton’s, though Johnson allegedly searched drawers. Owner Bill Helton recovered his tools, and the investigation continues.
Johnson’s original court date is set for March 31, 2025, at midnight.
