A heartwarming story from Cabot: Eighteen lifeguards from the Cabot Aquatic Team have been honored by Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) for their heroic actions that saved a 3-year-old from a near-drowning incident on May 27th, Memorial Day. With outstanding support from the Cabot Police Department, Cabot Fire Department, and MEMS, the incident had a happy outcome. Thanks to their quick response and teamwork, the child was discharged the following day, healthy and full of life.
