A “bomb” was reported on a country road in Arkansas. It turned out to be a false alarm.
According to 4029TV, An empty pipe caused a false alarm in Alma Tuesday morning, according to Veronica Robins, Crawford County emergency manager.
Bomb Reported Turned Out To Be False
The crew was brush-hogging on Baugh Road, just south of Dean Springs Road, when they came across what they thought was a pipe bomb in a fence.
The Fort Smith Bomb Squad was sent to the scene and discovered it was an empty pipe, not a bomb.
The news comes after yet another bomb threat was reported at an Arkansas College 1 day earlier. It too turned out to be a false alarm.
