Bomb Reported Turned Out To Be False

The crew was brush-hogging on Baugh Road, just south of Dean Springs Road, when they came across what they thought was a pipe bomb in a fence.

The Fort Smith Bomb Squad was sent to the scene and discovered it was an empty pipe, not a bomb.

The news comes after yet another bomb threat was reported at an Arkansas College 1 day earlier. It too turned out to be a false alarm.
