A recent string of storms in Arkansas appears to have brought severe hail damage.
According to THV11, newly released video footage shows extensive hail damage after a hail storm hit a town in Arkansas. It’s reportedly putting farmers’ livelihoods at risk.
Newly Released Footage Shows Hail Damage In Arkansas
On Friday night, baseball-sized hail poured down in Slovak, Arkansas. Farmers in the area say the event was not only dangerous to their livelihoods, but that it came as an unexpected shock due to its rarity.
Local farmer Steve Chlapecka said it’s unusual for such weather to happen in Arkansas. It led to his crops of soybeans and rice crops being destroyed:
“It’s not very common to go through that.”
