Arkansas Man Killed On Motorcycle In Tragic Accident
Zachariah B. Contant, 43, from Ozark, lost his life in the collision. He was riding a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle at the time.
The crash involved a 2020 Dodge Ram, also traveling west on I-40. Both vehicles converged near the 64-mile marker on-ramp.
According to Arkansas State Police, the Dodge Ram was on the on-ramp when the Yamaha swerved in. The motorcycle struck the rear of the truck.
Contant, the Yamaha driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. Details about the Dodge Ram driver were not released.
The accident has raised concerns about highway safety in the area. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the swerve.
