A young person has been arrested in connection to shots fired at vehicles in Arkansas.
Law enforcement in Franklin County Arkansas say they have made an arrest following witness statements and finding that “several rounds did strike the vehicle that the victims were standing near.”
Young Person Arrested After Shots Fired In Arkansas
On November 10, 2024, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to gunfire from a passing vehicle targeting a group of juveniles.
No injuries occurred, but several bullets hit a nearby vehicle on November 10.
Two days later, on November 13, 2024, a juvenile from Branch was arrested following witness statements.
Charges include Terroristic Act, Unlawful Discharge, Criminal Mischief, Aggravated Assault, Attempted Homicide, and Tampering with Evidence.
The Sheriff’s Office assures that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
