An Arkansas woman’s car was hit by a train in a devastating fatal accident.

Details were released by Arkansas State Police after Beverly Cokley, 77, was killed in her Ford Escape in Ashley County Arkansas.

Arkansas Woman Killed By Train In Her Car

On November 14th, at approximately 9:02 am, a tragic accident occurred in Ashley County when a train struck a vehicle at a railroad crossing.

Beverly Cokley, a 77-year-old resident of Dermott, was fatally injured in the crash.

She was driving a 2022 Ford Escape westbound on Ashley Road 53 when her vehicle was hit on the driver’s side by a northbound Union Pacific train.

The impact caused the car to be pushed into a nearby ditch where it came to a rest.

The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
