Campers Stranded By Rising Water Saved By Emergency Team In Arkansas

They were stranded in rising waters. Thankfully, help arrived in time.

The Huntsville Fire Department announced the brave rescue on social media. It happened a Withrow Springs State Park during heavy flooding. Campers were stranded due to rising waters.

Stranded Campers Saved After Water Rises

On November 5th at 8:24 p.m., the Swift Water Rescue team was called to action in Withrow Springs State Park, where heavy flooding had blocked all park entrances.

Rescuers navigated through the floodwaters to reach and safely evacuate campers trapped by the rising waters.

During the operation, the team learned of a motorist stranded on Highway 8270, north of their current location.

The motorist managed to escape unharmed, although his vehicle remained stuck.

The rescue operation concluded without any injuries to those rescued or the rescue team.

    To bad they don’t try a bit harder to find the man that went missing about midnight last night on his four wheeler. Took them about 6 hrs after report to even half ass look for him. Great police work! Madison county!
