That’s because the dry conditions are creating a dangerous situation in Arkansas. Fires are happening.
The Arkansas Forestry Division shared arial photographs showing massive smoke from a fire in the forest near Interstate 30 in Arkansas. Multiple fire departments responded to the incident on October 23rd. You can view the photos below.
Photos Show Fire In Forest Near Interstate
The Arkansas Forestry Division of Arkansas revealed the following information.
Firefighters from Hot Spring, Saline, Clark, and Grant counties tackled multiple fires along Interstate 30 near the Hot Spring and Garland county lines.
The Arkansas State Police and volunteer fire departments aided in the rapid response, effectively containing the fires.
Thanks to a swift dispatch and coordinated efforts, the fires were limited to under 40 acres.
