The Stringband Music & Arts Festival is returning to the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View on October 9 and 10.
The 2-day event will feature evening music shows Friday and Saturday at Ozark Highlands Theater beginning at 7 p.m., along with special matinee performances in the Craft Village beginning at 2 p.m. both days.
Friday’s lineup includes Mountain View’s own Riggsville Ramblers, the Ozark Folk Center Square Dancers, and award-winning songwriter John Depew with his banjo-mandolin trio.
Saturday’s performers include Salem Plateau, featuring Arkansas’ 2026 Old Time Banjo Champion Grace Stormont-McCarthy, along with western North Carolina youth folksinger and banjo performer Murphy Campbell.

Festival tickets include admission to the evening theater shows and access to the Ozark Folk Center Craft Village from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy live stringband music, traditional craft demonstrations and old-fashioned family fun throughout the festival.
