Smackover Wins 3A Girls Golf State Championship; Harding Academy Runner-Up & Melbourne Tied for 9th

The Smackover Buckaroos captured the 2026 Class 3A Girls Golf State Championship at Russellville Country Club,

while Harding Academy finished as state runner-up.

Smackover turned in a championship team score of 249, finishing 24 strokes ahead of Harding Academy, which posted a 273.

Parkers Chapel finished just 1 stroke behind Harding Academy in 3rd place with a 274. Jessieville placed 4th at 278, followed by Bismarck in 5th with a 288.

Maumelle Charter finished 6th with a 310, Dover placed 7th with a 312 and Flippin finished 8th at 315.

Providence Academy and Melbourne tied for 9th place with matching team scores of 316.

Bismarck’s Adelyn Morrison earned individual medalist honors after firing a 75.

Baptist Prep’s Isabella Curtis finished just 1 stroke behind Morrison with a 76.

Harding Academy’s Kinsley Swindle finished 3rd overall with a 77, giving the state runner-up Wildcats another top finish at the championship.

Smackover’s Katherine Wolfe and Kannyn Preston tied for 4th after each shot a 79.

Quitman’s Matti Lyn Dublin finished 6th with an 82, followed by Jessieville’s Brooke Spangler in 7th at 85.

Manila’s Lucy Farmer finished 8th with an 87.

Parkers Chapel golfers Bentlee Bates and Jade Stewart tied for 9th at 88, while McGehee’s Kynleigh White finished 11th with a 90.
