Country music legends and Arkansas artists took center stage Monday night during the 9th Annual Arkansas Country Music Awards held at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway Arkansas.
The biggest surprise of the evening came when country superstar Garth Brooks appeared to present a Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary Arkansas music producer Allen Reynolds. Reynolds produced 13 of Brooks’ 19 albums and was officially inducted into the Arkansas Country Music Hall of Fame during the ceremony.
Brooks delivered a heartfelt speech honoring Reynolds’ impact on country music and his influence on generations of artists.

Additional Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to The Whites and Jimmy Doyle and Patsy Gayle and Allen Reynolds.

Country legends Crystal Gayle and Ricky Skaggs headlined the night while awards were presented across multiple music categories honoring Arkansas talent.
David Adam Byrnes earned Country Artist of the Year honors while Cliff and Susan captured Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Duo/Group of the Year.

Kelsey Lamb was named Female Vocalist of the Year.
Tyler Kinch won Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Dancing With A Cowboy.”

And Mountain View Favorite Sylamore Special received Bluegrass Artist of the Year honors.

The annual awards show celebrates Arkansas’ rich musical heritage and recognizes artists and performers from across the Natural State.
