The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced a temporary lane closure on the Highway 25 bridge across Greers Ferry Dam in Arkansas.

Officials say 1 lane will be closed for approximately 3 weeks beginning April 13, 2026, as crews perform routine maintenance work on the bridge.

Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights positioned at each end of the dam, allowing vehicles to safely pass through the work zone.

Motorists traveling through Greers Ferry Arkansas, Heber Springs Arkansas, and surrounding areas are urged to use caution, obey all traffic signals, and watch for workers and equipment.

Drivers are also encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the construction period.

The closure is being coordinated with local law enforcement and emergency services to minimize disruptions.

Officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers say they appreciate the public’s patience while the maintenance work is completed.
