The 2026 Arkansas Regional Robotics Tournament, part of the internationally recognized FIRST Robotics Competition, will return to Searcy Arkansas March 19–21, 2026 at the Ganus Athletic Center on the campus of Harding University in Searcy Arkansas.
The 3-day competition will bring together 25 high school robotics teams, including 8 teams from Arkansas, along with competitors traveling from across the United States and Mexico.
High School Students Show Engineering Innovation
Students participating in the competition design, build, and program their own robots with guidance from mentors in engineering, technology, and robotics.
Each competition robot weighs approximately 115 pounds and measures 22.5 inches tall, representing months of planning, coding, mechanical design, and teamwork.
During the tournament, teams will compete in a fast-paced environment that tests engineering creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving skills.
Inspiring Future STEM Careers
The FIRST Robotics Competition is widely recognized for inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The program emphasizes leadership development, innovation, teamwork, and hands-on learning.
Community Event in Searcy Arkansas
The tournament is expected to draw students, coaches, mentors, families, and robotics enthusiasts to Searcy Arkansas, bringing additional activity and excitement to the community.
