A Creative Modular Construction lawsuit has been filed in Greene County, Missouri, alleging more than $2 million in embezzled company funds tied to a firm supporting the rapid national expansion of 7 Brew Drive-Thru Coffee.

Ron Crume, a co-founder of 7 Brew and Benton County resident, filed the complaint against Lee Loveall and Leanna Loveall. The lawsuit alleges Loveall diverted more than $2 million in company funds for personal expenses, including vacations and vehicle purchases, and concealed the transactions while blocking access to company records, IT systems, and financial backups at Creative Modular Construction.
The complaint further alleges fraud, conversion, unjust enrichment, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of operating agreement. Loveall’s wife, Leanna Loveall, a former employee with access to company financial systems, is also named as a defendant.
On February 9, Greene County Circuit Judge Derek A. Ankrom issued an injunction prohibiting the Lovealls from altering or destroying company records and ordered them to provide access to financial documents. As of Wednesday, no formal response had been filed by the defendants.
Crume and his wife, Lisa, launched 7 Brew in Rogers in 2017. The company has grown to more than 600 locations nationwide. Creative Modular Construction, based in Springfield, Missouri, was organized to serve as the exclusive modular building manufacturer for 7 Brew, constructing prefabricated drive-thru structures that support the brand’s rapid expansion.
The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages, restitution, disgorgement, and punitive damages. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 3.
