“Books By The Pound” Owner Arrives In Fairfield Bay With A Gift For Seniors

“Thank you, Books By The Pound!”

That’s how Seth Connell publicly thanked the owners for helping his community of Fairfield Bay.

Richard and Jamie Howell own two bookstore locations in Searcy and North Little Rock called “Books By The Pound”. Their work has been praised by the Wall Street Journal and other outlets. Richard recently visited Fairfield Bay and got a personal tour with Seth Connell. He even left a gift for the community to enjoy.

“Books By The Pound” Makes Special Visit To Fairfield Bay

On July 21st, Richard Howell made a special appearance in Fairfield Bay.

As a gift to the community, Richard brought a cartload of books to donate to the Senior Center’s new library shelves.

Seth Connell announced the news on social media:

“I even showed him our beautiful town. He loved it… They’re truly great people. I appreciate them dearly!”
