A former employee of Arkansas State University has been arrested on federal charges involving the production of child pornography.
According to court documents filed in the United States District Court, David Scott Harness, also known as Skot Harness, is accused of violating Title 18 of the United States Code, Section 2251, which pertains to the production of child pornography.
Harness worked in information technology at the ASU–Beebe campus.
Court records show Harness was taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service on January 22 in Searcy. The case remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
