A Searcy man has been arrested on multiple felony charges following a months-long investigation by the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force.

Authorities say agents received information in September 2025 that David Glynn Stracener, 72, of Searcy, was allegedly involved in trafficking vulnerable individuals, specifically women struggling with drug addiction or other forms of vulnerability. Investigators opened a case and continued gathering evidence over the following months.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, investigators with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, the Searcy Police Department, and the White County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Stracener’s residence on Valley Court in Searcy.

Stracener was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking of persons, a Class A felony; one count of use of a communication device during the commission of a human trafficking offense, a Class C felony; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor.

Officials say the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who may have information related to this case or believes they may be a victim is encouraged to contact the Searcy Police Department or the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force at 501-279-6241.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
