This is a reminder that Act 108, passed during the 2025 legislative session and approved in February, officially expanded when fireworks can be sold in Arkansas. The law adjusted the summer sales period, giving residents and vendors more time leading up to Independence Day.

The current legal fireworks retail dates are:
June 13 – July 10
December 10 – January 5
The change came through House Bill 1324, sponsored by Representatives Duffield, Jean, Bentley, Beaty Jr., M. Brown, Hall, Ray, and Puryear, along with Senator B. Davis. The updated schedule is now active for all Arkansas fireworks retailers and buyers.
As we move into upcoming holiday seasons, Arkansans can plan ahead knowing sales begin earlier than previous years, expanding opportunity for celebrations and retail activity statewide.
