If you saw mysterious bright lights over Van Buren County Saturday morning, you were not alone.
Multiple reports surfaced online. One photograph even emerged.
Those were satellites belonging to StarLink, Elon Musk’s space company. Mayor Seth Connell of Fairfield Bay shared photographs online of the lights, explaining what they were.
The photograph was taken from Seth’s backyard early in the morning.
On social media, Mayor Seth wrote:
“Spotted from my backyard this morning.
Those white dots in the sky?
StarLink satellites.
Elon Musk’s company.
Interesting times.”
