A Searcy man was killed early Friday morning, November 7, 2025, when his motorcycle struck a deer on Interstate 57 near the 41-mile marker in White County, according to preliminary reports from the Arkansas State Police released on Sunday.
Authorities say 32-year-old Colin Dougan was traveling north on a 2022 Yamaha MT07 around 6:43 a.m. when a deer entered the roadway. Dougan’s motorcycle collided with the animal, resulting in a fatal crash.
No other vehicles or injuries were reported in the incident.
According to the report by Trooper First Class Cody L. Brown, weather conditions were clear, and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash.
The Arkansas State Police investigated.
