A raging fire spread to a nearby home in Arkansas.
A fire broke out at 1:52 PM on May 9th in the Goshen Arkansas Fire District, prompting a swift response from crews. First responders arrived to find a fifth-wheel trailer fully engulfed, with flames spreading to an adjacent home and heavy fire on the roof. You can view photographs below.
15 Firefighters Respond To Spreading Fire In Arkansas
Firefighters from the initial engine company launched an aggressive interior attack using hand lines. After knocking down the main fire, they conducted a thorough salvage and overhaul to extinguish hotspots and recover personal items.
Ten fire apparatus and 15 firefighters worked together to control the blaze. Support came from Nob Hill, Round Mountain, Springdale Fire Departments, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Central EMS.
No residents or emergency personnel were injured, but sadly, one family dog perished. The Goshen Fire District expressed their condolences to the family during this challenging time.
