According to case files, the alleged incident occurred on November 9, 2024, when Turner allegedly set fire to a car owned by Britney Guffey. Authorities say the fire was intentionally set at a residence on Highway 95 West.
Court documents say Turner admitted to starting the fire after a dispute with Guffey. The conflict stemmed from Guffey refusing to drive Turner home after a night of drinking.
Investigator Logan Denscy interviewed Turner at the Conway County Sheriff’s Office. She reportedly signed a Miranda rights form and provided a statement confirming her involvement.
Turner’s bond has been set at $15,000. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
The affidavit cites Turner’s frustration, claiming Guffey and another individual stole her phone and refused to take her home. This reportedly led to her locking herself in Guffey’s car before setting it ablaze.
The Van Buren County Circuit Court has found probable cause for Turner’s arrest. The case remains under investigation as authorities gather further evidence.
