Rehobeth Southern Baptist Church in Moorefield will celebrate a major milestone Saturday, October 3, marking 200 years of continuous service.
The church, located at 65 Ham Street near Batesville, says it is the oldest continuously operating Baptist church in Arkansas.
The special 200th Anniversary Homecoming celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. and will bring current members, former members, families and visitors together for a day of fellowship, food and music.
Activities will include food catered by Fred’s Fish House, bouncy houses for children and live music.
Randy and Stephanie Wade are scheduled to perform, along with the McComas family.
Organizers say the celebration will honor 2 centuries of ministry and the generations of people who have worshiped and served through Rehobeth Southern Baptist Church.
The church is inviting the public to attend the anniversary celebration and homecoming.
Rehobeth Southern Baptist Church is located at 65 Ham Street in Moorefield, just outside Batesville.
The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026.
